SSWs Information Technology  Services (ITS) is the technical support unit for the School of Social Work . This support unit facilitates the integration of technology in the administrative and instructional operations of the School. The following briefly describes the functions of the unit.

Computer Service ‑ client support and consulting on various applications, installation and configuration of hardware and software, troubleshooting, general hardware upgrades, purchasing, computer lab management and support

Instructional Technology Service ‑ integration of technology in the classroom  and learning spaces, web development and delivery, presentations/graphics support, and training

Media Service ‑ video library, video taping lab and support, video editing support, scheduling/management of technology resources, i.e, AV equipment

Network Service ‑ network management, system management and design, internet support

ITS consists of a team of professionals who are located on the 2nd floor of the SSW building.  Consultants are available at varying times during the day to help with questions in the labs and can be found at the IT help desk on the 2nd floor.  For individual consultations and special project requests, please schedule an appointment.
