If you are browsing or reading an article on the internet and want to know more about a word or topic in that article, normally you may do one of two things –
1. Type the text or word in the URL field and press enter to start a search
2. Bring up google and type the text in its search field and press enter
However, there is another option for searching which will save you some steps –
Just highlight the word or text directly in the page you are reading, right click it to pop up a menu, Select “search google”.
Your browser will open a new tab and show you search results for the word(s) or topic.
This feature works in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, but not Microsoft Edge.
